I've spent 20+ years not just designing historic homes—but living in them, buying them, renovating them, and operating them as profitable investments across Middle Tennessee. As a licensed interior designer, certified project manager, and real estate investor, I've personally acquired, restored, and operated 18+ historic properties.
I don't just consult from a distance. I've lived this work—raising my family in the homes I restore, making real decisions with real budgets, and understanding firsthand what it takes to balance preservation with profitability and modern living. My husband Dustin brings 20+ years of carpentry experience and serves as project manager on every renovation, which means I have skilled hands-on support for every project I guide clients through.
Right now, we're restoring Wallspring Estate, our 1827 Federal home in Gallatin, Tennessee. Every decision I guide my clients through, I've made myself. Every mistake I help them avoid, I've learned the hard way.

Our 1827 Federal Home - A Living Laboratory
Wallspring Estate is where I practice what I teach. This 198-year-old home is our family's long-term restoration project and my design studio. Here, I test every material recommendation, learn which original details are worth saving, and understand—firsthand—the cost, time, and heart required for faithful preservation.
My husband Dustin brings 20+ years of carpentry experience as my project manager. Our children work alongside us, learning that beautiful things take time and that caring for what's been entrusted to us matters.
